While both kids were @ the highschool football game with friends Friday night, Trav and I went to see "Rise of the Planet of the Apes". I had drug Trav to see the Help last time we went to see a movie, so I really didn't have a choice this time. Let's say I did not have high expectations for the movie...I was thinking something like this...

but I really enjoyed the movie, and the "digital stuff" wasn't cheesy!

Now, it's not all cute and cuddly {just at first} and I do think Cass would have been scared, but Gavin would have loved it! There were parts when I was on the edge of my seat...Trav tapped me on the shoulder to get me back to reality. I hear "it's not that bad", but I was enjoying it and I was getting into the movie!

I think it is a great remake and there are surely more to come. It was a great way to start out the movie sequels again! I would recommend this movie for ages 13 and up!!

I have to say that would not be one I would pick. Sounds intense. I heard The Help is awesome. Need to go see it.
Looks good! Glad ya'll got to have a date night! I want to go see the Help, but will probably have to wait till it comes out on DVD.
Me and the boys went to see it and we loved it! That was a great review! Finally a good, clean entertaining movie for everyone! It was a great story line!!
