I Got A Word...

Last weekend was a truly blessed weekend! I went to Beth Moore with these three lovely ladies!!! Left to Right, Debbie, Jodi, Bestie Mar & me.

I can't believe how blessed we were that Beth Moore came to Lubbock out of all the places she could have simulcasted!! There were 180,000 ladies and a few gents;) joined together to worship and hear a good 'word'!

My friend Yoli had posted on my FB, "Have a blast hearing a good 'word'! Well...I did get a word from the Lord that day!

God pressed upon my heart that I need to saturate my home with scripture. I have a two scriptures posted in my home...one in Cass' room (that she chose) and another one in our guest bath. But, I feel like that is not enough, I want my children to know scripture from their inmost being...I want it to become natural that a verse pops in their head when they need it most! I can just hear Beth Moore...'Girl, did you ever get a word!'

{Cassidy's Room}
Beth Moore lasted all day Saturday. When I got home I was emotionally and physically tired. We walked several miles that day back and forth to parking and up and down the stairs at the United Spirit Arena. After a little rest on the couch, I spent most of the night Saturday looking up verses.

Several months back, I had put a quote from a song "Your'e beautiful. You are treasured. You are sacred. You are His" on Cass' mirror. I wanted her to see that everyday as she was getting ready. I wanted something like that on Gavin's mirror, but more boyish...you know.

Saturday night, I showed Gavin several verses. I mean why had I waited so long? He picked one...

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31. {and yes, I did have to clean his bathroom before I could take a picture!!lol}
I am so excited for him to see that everyday and draw strength from God's word!

I wanted the verse Joshua 1:9 for the door to the garage. We head out everyday through that door and I thought it was a great encouraging verse. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

Our front door mirror got an uplift...I actually had seen this in a magazine and copied it...I just love how it turned out!

It says "May God bless all who enter here. May you go out with Joy and be led forth with Peace. Isaiah 55:12.
I have many more ideas and I can't wait to implement them all!!

Blessings Friends!!

Laurie;)
